なり【生り】

なり【鳴り】

・私はハンカチに顔を埋めたなりしばらく泣き続けた. I went on crying for some time with my face buried in my handkerchief.

・申込書に記入したなり提出するのを忘れていた. The application was all filled out, but I'd forgotten to turn it in.
